MEIS Italian Hebraism Museum and the Shoah
Ministero per i Beni e le attività Culturali, Comune di Ferrara, Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche italiane
This Museum set in Ferrara is dedicated to the history, the thought and culture of italian judaism. It promotes didactic activities and festivals, national and international meetings, temporary and permanent exhibitions, films and shows about peace and cultural exchanges.
In collaboration with Scape architects in Rome and Vertov studio in Milan, Alizarina designed the wayfinding of all the museum’s buildings (3.000 square meters between Hall, Galleries and Auditorium). Alizarina also designed all graphics for the Museum’s permanent multimedia exhibition on Italian Judaism and the Shoah. The Museum’s construction site will open in 2014.
