Silvia Sfligiotti CV

Silvia Sfligiotti is a graphic designer, educator and design critic. Besides her design work at Alizarina, she writes on visual communication, teaches and holds lectures at international conferences and several universities and design schools in Italy and abroad.
 She’s co-author of five books on visual communication and typography and curator of design exhibitions; from 2012 to 2017 she was co-editor of the Italian graphic design magazine «Progetto Grafico». In 2008 she was scientific coordinator of the Multiverso conference and exhibition, at the Icograda Design Week Torino 2008. From 2008 to 2015 she was part of the jury of the European Design Awards.

She is currently teaching at  ISIA Urbino, at the Design department of the University of the Republic of San Marino and at Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano SPD, where she’s also coordinator for the Master in Visual Design and curator of the Design Talks lecture series.
